  • Hotel/accommodation booking confirmation

  • Yellow fever certificate (if arriving from endemic countries)
  • Travel insurance (recommended)
Visa-Free Countries: All East African Community citizens (Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, South Sudan) enter Kenya visa-free. Many African Union countries also have bilateral agreements.

Rwanda gorilla permits at $1,500 are the most expensive in Africa but revenue goes directly to conservation and community development. Rwanda's mountain gorilla population has doubled in 20 years thanks to this model.
